ABOUT LINKS
LINKS (Linking Individuals to Nurture Kids’ Success) is a non-profit organization that was founded in October 2016. We create linkages between individuals, communities, and other organizations, with the goal that underprivileged children attain literacy.

LINKS Philippines Receives International Recognition from IBBY
LINKS Philippines is deeply honored to be named the 2026 recipient of the IBBY–Asahi Reading Promotion Award, a prestigious international recognition celebrating outstanding initiatives that promote reading among children and young people.
This award recognizes the impact of our Hooked on Books (HOB) Library and Reading Program and our commitment to building child-centered, community-led spaces where children can read, imagine, create, belong, and dream.
This achievement belongs to every volunteer, partner, teacher, donor, school, and community member who has supported our journey. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to IBBY Philippines for believing in our work and nominating LINKS Philippines for this distinguished honor.
Above all, we dedicate this award to the children we have served, those we continue to serve, and the many more we hope to reach. They remain at the heart of everything we do and inspire us to continue building communities where reading can thrive.
